It's Mundane Monday.
That's right, it is a crossing on the road. But it isn't just any crossing, it was recently installed next to a Supermarket near work after they had closed the road for a week and a bit.

Who has something like that? I've no idea, but I could hazard a guess.

Mundane Monday
That's right, kids. It is Mundane Monday. And do we have a special one for you this week.
Like any good writer, one needs a crutch, and my crutch happens to be cold and flu medicine, which I was still taking last week after being off work the week before.
And last week, while writing the joke that got on Newsjack I was downing cold medicine.
But this week, I'm off the sauce. (See, I'm a writer, I called it "the sauce.") So you have to ask yourself, can I write Newsjack worthy jokes with a clear head?

It's a Monday more mundane than most.
I've been off work sick at the tail end of last week. So I haven't left the house since I arrived home on Wednesday.
So all I've done is sleep, blow my nose and read, so to capture that in a photo, I present this:
I could have photographed my snotty nose (but it had such a low opinion of me, it refused to sign the release papers.)

Since the backend of last week was filled with me participating in some shows, I thought it only appropriate to post this:
The gig write ups will be published soon. Gig 15 will be this Wednesday, and Gig 16 will be published the Wednesday after (giving me time to write it up).

It's Mundane Monday again.
Well, it is February, so I guess you know what that means.
Yep.
It's ComedySportz workshop time. (For the 7th term. I swear I'll be good at this, one day.)
I was prevented from going for week one because of snow, so this weekend was my first class.
I missed it.
I also got to improv a little with Beware The Gnomes beforehand for the first time since the end of November. That was cool as we all hadn't met up for a while.
It was a lot of fun.

It's Mundane Monday, following a very snow filled weekend which reduced the opportunity to go out.
So what did I do? I started to read this book:
New York by Edward Rutherfurd.
I can't say that I've read a Saga style novel before, but as I enjoy most things New York related, I'm quite enjoying it at the halfway stage.

While I was in Australia, I bought a little prepaid mobile phone so that I could stay connected on the move.
It was a great little phone:
A Samsung Galaxy Ace on the Optus network.
I'm very tempted to get a Samsung phone here once my contract expires in a few months.

Last week on the plane back from Australia, I watched Prometheus.
Then on my return to work, there was some pick and mix sweets in the kitchen, where I saw these:
So if I explode at any point this week, you'll know why.
Come to think of it, my belly has been swollen recently.
