A Weighty Issue 4: Please Sir, Can I Have Some More?

And so we reach the third Wednesday of the month, and it is time for another weight loss blog thingy.

And how have I done this month since I made the promise to do better after last month's slip?

Well, I went on holiday. That's how.

Not away on holiday, that's August (yay), but a vacation from work. I took the three days betweeen the Easter / Royal Wedding Bank Holidays. (The three e's in the word "between" is not a typo, it is a character representation for each day that I booked off work. Tu e sday, Wedn e sday and um, Thur e sday.)

And so will those 11 days off (including the weekends and bank holidays, too) from work, did I put my best foot forward and work out and train for those days unencumbered by the need to be sat at a desk for 8 hours a day?

Of course, I didn't.

I spent my days eating biscuits (cookies), watching TV and just generally relaxing.

It was fun. The downside when I returned to work and I was weighed, I'd put on 3 pounds, which took the amount of weight I'd lost since I started this experiment back down to 8 pounds.

So I was relatively good (compared with what I ate during my holiday) and when I weighed myself last Friday, I had:

Not lost any at all.

So my weight loss this month was negative -2. (I had lost an extra 1lb earlier in the month before my vacation).

Start weight: 239lbs : Current weight: 231lbs.

And so in the days that followed the weigh in, I have done my best to watch my calorie intake. So we'll see how that works out for me.

So join me in another month for round five and we'll see if I have lost or gained any more.

Until then, keep watching the skis (yoghurt).
